Blind Steve + No Shadow = Start Planting!

Are you dying to start working on your garden and landscape beds? Well, Steve made an appearance to let us know that he thinks it is ok to start planting.

March is the perfect time to get those tomato and pepper seeds started indoors ready for an early spring planting! Also a great time to start planting those cool weather vegetables that can withstand those last frost days of March and April.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac states that the average date of last frost for Austin is March 1.  There are no guarantees, but planting should be fine now.  You can always cover your new plants if we get a “freak” freeze.  Ready, set, Plant!
